Position: Assistant Manager – Audit & Tax

Key Responsibilities

- Handle accounts finalization and books closure using various accounting software.
- Prepare financial statements for companies in accordance with Schedule III of the Companies Act.
- Prepare statutory audit reports and accompanying notes to the accounts.
- Prepare tax audit reports in accordance with Section 44AB of the Income Tax Act.
- Prepare personal and business tax returns in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Review monthly TDS and GST compliances and returns prepared by subordinates.
- Develop and prepare MIS reports for internal decision-making, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators of various clients.




- Provide training and guidance to team members on audit procedures, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Foster a collaborative environment that supports staff development and enhances overall team performance.
- Coordinate effectively with multiple departments to resolve cross-functional issues.

Experience &

Skills Required

- PQE: 1–3 years in statutory audit, accounts finalization, and tax audit.
- Strong knowledge of Direct Tax and Indirect Tax compliance is mandatory.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Well-planned, organized, and highly attentive to detail.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly MS Office.
- Prior experience with accounting software such as Winman, Tally, Zoho, etc. is preferred.
- Robust interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively cater to MNC clients.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with multiple departments.

What Could Set You Apart
- Prior or current experience in a CA firm with exposure to multiple domains.
- Detailed knowledge of book closure and accounts finalization, including finalization of accounting entries and preparation of financial statements.
- Strong understanding of financial position and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to independently handle client requirements while effectively managing and guiding team members.
- Exposure to MNC and cross-border clients will be an added advantage.
