Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented CAD Design Engineer to support our Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Architectural teams in preparing, developing and revising technical drawings for pharmaceutical and industrial projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, capable of interpreting engineering inputs and interested in developing their expertise in multidisciplinary design and engineering documentation. Experience with Revit or BIM tools will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, develop and revise 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD based on sketches, markups, design inputs and project specifications.
- Support Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Architectural teams in preparing discipline-specific layouts, plans, sections, elevations,



details and schematics, as applicable.
- Convert preliminary engineering inputs into accurate and well-organised technical drawings.
- Incorporate comments and revisions received from engineers and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain drawing consistency and resolve interface discrepancies.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, document numbering and drawing records.
- Assist in preparing schedules, technical documentation and other drawing-related project deliverables.
- Follow project drafting standards, drawing conventions, quality requirements and delivery timelines.
- Support 3D modelling and BIM coordination activities where applicable, using Revit or other relevant software.

Qualification & Skills:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in CAD drafting, engineering drawing preparation or design support.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is mandatory.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, sketches and technical specifications.
- Understanding of layers, dimensions, annotations, drawing scales and revision control.
- Valuable attention to detail, coordination skills and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills

- Working knowledge of Revit Architecture, Revit MEP or other BIM tools.
- Experience in an engineering consultancy, pharmaceutical project organisation, EPC company or industrial design environment.
- Exposure to pharmaceutical facilities, cleanrooms, utilities or industrial infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary drawing coordination and technical documentation.
