- JOB SUMMARY/SCOPE:

a) Handle procurement of materials and services in an efficient and effective manner to ensure in-time and value-added support to the operations.

b) Act as a single point of contact from receipt of approved requisition to release of PO.

c) Handle and resolve post-PO release queries, discrepancies to ensure that material and services are delivered as per the terms and conditions defined in the PO.

d) Maintain healthy and positive relationships with both existing and new vendors to ensure value added products and services are introduced.

e) Ensure effective utilization of ERP system to ensure availability of accurate database for MIS f) Process purchase orders and ensure its release to vendors on the same day as final approval g) Ensure implementation and compliance of Company rules, processes and policies.

- RESPONSIBILITIES a) Conversion of requisition to Purchase Order in value added manner within defined time frame b) Create quality purchase order to ensure least post-release queries and cost escalations c) Negotiate the best price and terms for the procurement of materials and services.

d) Resolve all and any queries post-PO release in tandem with Logistics Officer e) Own and resolve material supply discrepancies arising of purchase orders in a timely and cost-productive manner
- HSE:

a) Include HSE as integral part of all procurement decision making e.g. procure HSE compliant lifting and PPE material b) Report immediately all hazards,



incidents or accidents observed to HSE representative regardless of whether anybody is harmed or equipment is damaged.

c) Use empowerment to stop work for yourself or others if there is immediate risk to health, environment & safety d) Ensure to maintain validity of your mandatory HSE related training. Raise alert and attend courses as directed by HSE team before expiry date.

e) Always take care for yourself, colleagues and others whilst at work f) Follow all company policies and procedures advised from time to time

- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES a) Sound understanding of Supply Chain functions (Sourcing & Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing) and their impact on the cost of sales for the Company.

b) Diploma / Bachelor from any technical stream or non technical with overall experience of at least 5 years in Procurement activities related to the upstream Oil & Gas operations.

c) Understanding of “pinch points” in Supply Chain functions and effective ways to overcome them d) Sound analytical, logical and result driven thinking skills.

e) Sound negotiation and communications skills – both written and oral, must be self-correspondent f) Ability to provide value added options aimed at cost & time saving.

g) Must be willing to work on Oman calendar and shift (09.30 a.m. - 06.30 p.m. | Sunday – Thursday) on a hybrid basis - 3 days a week work from home & 2 days a week work from office.

h) Should have an excellent command in English language (Speaking, Writing & Reading)
