Job Summary The Staff Nurse is a registered skilled responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct patient care. Acting as the primary point of contact between patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, the Staff Nurse ensures high standards of clinical safety, compassionate care, and medical compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Patient Care

- Assessment & Vitals: Continuously monitor, record, and report changes in patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical conditions.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed oral, intravenous (IV), intramuscular, and topical medications while following safety protocols (5 Rights of Medication Administration).
- Treatment & Diagnostic Support: Assist physicians with medical procedures, perform wound care, insert catheters/IV lines, and collect lab specimens.
- Emergency Response: Recognize clinical deterioration and initiate immediate life-saving interventions (CPR, basic/advanced life support) when necessary.

Care Coordination & Documentation
- Nursing Care Plans: Develop, evaluate, and update individualized care plans based on patient needs.




- Medical Records: Maintain accurate, timely electronic or paper health records (EHR/EMR) regarding treatments, observations, and care progress.
- Shift Handover: Conduct structured clinical handovers using SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) tools to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Advocacy & Education
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care, medication management, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Advocate for patient rights, privacy, and informed consent.

Infection Control & Safety
- Adhere strictly to hospital hygiene standards, aseptic techniques, and infection control guidelines.
- Ensure proper disposal of biohazardous waste and maintenance of sterile environments.

Qualifications B.Sc Nursing

Experience : Fresher / 1 Year

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
