We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper who enjoys working with numbers, is willing to learn and wants to grow with our team.
What You'll Do
- Record and categorize daily transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Xero.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards and payment transactions.
- Match invoices, bills, payments and deposits to accounting records.
- Identify missing transactions, duplicates and discrepancies.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Support monthly bookkeeping and account reconciliations.
- Maintain organized Excel working files and reconciliation schedules.
- Follow established accounting procedures and checklists.
- Raise questions when something doesn't match and help resolve differences.
- Work closely with the finance team to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online or Xero,
preferably both.
- Good understanding of debits, credits and basic accounting principles.
- Practical experience with bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, filters and lookups.
- B.Com, M.Com or a similar accounting qualification.
- Good written English and ability to communicate clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
- A patient, methodical approach to investigating discrepancies.
- Willingness to learn new accounting systems and processes.
- Financial Modelling knowledge or experience is a Plus.
