Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Billing Specialist role based in Kollam.

The Billing

Specialist is responsible for preparing and issuing invoices for retail sales, verifying billing details against sales records, and ensuring accurate application of prices, discounts, and taxes. Daily tasks include updating billing information in accounting or billing systems, coordinating with sales and store teams to resolve billing discrepancies, and maintaining organized records of invoices and payments. The role also involves communicating with customers regarding billing queries, supporting client billing processes, and assisting with basic accounting entries related to billing.

Specialist is expected to follow company policies, meet deadlines, and support smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Billing Process and Client Billing, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Candidates should possess solid Invoicing skills, including preparing, reviewing, and updating sales invoices systematically.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess foundational Accounting skills for recording transactions, reconciling billing data, and supporting financial reporting.
- Preferred qualifications include prior experience in retail billing or finance support, familiarity with billing or ERP software, and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to work on-site in Kollam, manage time efficiently, maintain confidentiality of financial data, and handle repetitive tasks with consistency.
- A diploma or degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is beneficial.
