We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining scalable automation solutions across web, mobile, and API layers. The ideal candidate will have strong Python fundamentals, hands-on experience with end-to-end automation, and the ability to drive quality across the entire testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python

- Implement and execute end-to-end automated test scenarios across applications

- Perform API automation testing for RESTful services

- Automate mobile application testing (Android / iOS) using appropriate tools

- Plan and execute regression test suites to ensure system stability

- Collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to define test strategy

- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and report defects with clear documentation

- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines

- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices

- Ensure high test coverage, maintainability, and performance of automation scripts

Required Skills & Qualifications





- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation

- Strong Python fundamentals (OOP concepts, data structures, exception handling)

- Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Appium)

- Solid experience in API testing and automation (REST APIs, Postman, Python-based frameworks)

- Experience with mobile automation testing for Android and/or iOS

- Strong experience in regression testing and end-to-end testing

- Good understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC & STLC

- Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

- Ability to work independently and drive quality initiatives

Positive to Have

- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave)

- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust)

- Knowledge of Docker / containerized environments

- Experience in testing microservices-based architectures

- Prior experience in mentoring or leading QA initiatives
