Role Description The Australia Senior Tax Accountant at TaxGod is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for managing and reviewing Australian tax returns, ensuring accurate tax preparation and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Day-to-day activities include preparing and reviewing individual and business tax filings, analyzing financial statements, and advising clients on tax planning opportunities.

The role also involves coordinating with internal teams, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Australian tax legislation, and supporting process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Accountant may mentor junior staff, assist with complex tax issues, and contribute to client relationship management.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Tax, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation for Australian individuals and businesses.
- Proficiency in Accounting and preparation, review, and analysis of Financial Statements.
- Relevant professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (e.g., MBA, M.Com, Inter CA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in Australian taxation, including current knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Advanced analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex financial and tax data.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain tax implications clearly to clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and commitment to high ethical and professional standards.
- Experience with accounting and tax software and proficiency in common office productivity tools.
