Purpose/Objective

The Associate Manager – Railway Services will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and monitoring of overhead electrification (OHE) and associated railway construction projects, including Traction Substations (TSS) and Switching Stations (SSP).

This role is critical to ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of railway electrification projects, aligning with Adani Ports and Logistics’ strategic focus on operational excellence and infrastructure development.

The position supports the Project Manager in day-to-day management, MIS reporting, and invoice processing, contributing to the seamless integration of railway services within the broader logistics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Lead the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of all construction activities related to railway electrification, including OHE, TSS, and SSP works.
- Review and secure approvals for Railway Electrification Design Drawings, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, integrating resource and material requirements to meet project timelines.
- Coordinate with Project Management Consultants (PMC) and internal teams to ensure alignment with project milestones and deliverables.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and MIS updates to the Project Manager and clients.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses, estimate project values, and finalize work requirements in collaboration with PMC, clients, and construction teams.




- Oversee the preparation and submission of Running Account Bills to PMC/clients and follow up for payment realization.
- Verify subcontractor work measurements and approve payment certificates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Provide technical inputs for construction methodologies, ensuring quality, health, and safety standards are implemented and maintained.
- Manage store-inventory systems to ensure the availability of materials and resources for uninterrupted project execution.
- Facilitate coordination with design consultants for the erection, testing, and commissioning of railway electrification systems.
- Ensure compliance with milestone schedules, including the management of Traffic Blocks/Power Blocks for seamless project execution.

Qualifications and Experience

- Proven expertise in handling railway electrification/OHE projects, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in OHE and traction work (TSS, SP, SSP).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Railway Electrification Design Drawings and their approval processes.
- Hands-on experience in project planning, execution, and monitoring within the railway services domain.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BE/B.

Tech).

- Advanced certifications in project management or railway electrification (preferred).
