Job Title: Assistant Manager - IPQC (Solar Module)

The Assistant Manager - IPQC (In-Process Quality Control) for Solar Modules will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes during the manufacturing of solar panels. This role involves monitoring production lines, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and implementing strategies to enhance product consistency and reliability.

Manager will work closely with production teams to identify areas for improvement, conduct regular audits, and facilitate training programs to ensure that all staff is knowledgeable about quality control protocols. The role also includes documenting and reporting quality metrics, collaborating with supply chain teams to assess materials, and engaging with R&D; to align quality initiatives with product development.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the IPQC processes for solar module production to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of the production process and final products.
- Identify and analyze quality issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with production teams to educate staff on quality control protocols.
- Maintain and manage documentation related to quality metrics and processes.
- Coordinate with other departments, including R&D; and supply chain, to optimize product quality.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to senior management.
- Assist in the development and execution of quality improvement initiatives.

Skills and Tools Required

- Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies,



particularly in manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with solar module manufacturing processes and industry standards.
- Proficiency in quality management tools such as Six Sigma, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Experience with quality auditing techniques and documentation practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and training.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and quality management systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in quality control in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Leadership experience in managing a team is preferred.
