Purpose/Objective

To plan, execute, and monitor daily shopfloor production to achieve target output with required quality & supervise manpower, machines, and processes for smooth shift operations and minimum downtime, further maintain process discipline, dimensional accuracy, and traceability of all pro-duced items.

To lead and control end-to-end assembly operations for medium caliber ammunition (20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm), ensuring protected, compliant, and efficient production aligned with DGQA, PESO, JSG 0102, STANAG, and internal quality standards.

Key Accountabilities Assembly supervisor – Assembly Shop - Production Management & Quality Control 1 Monitor assembly operations for precision assembly of ammunition components 2 Ensure end-to-end assembly operations including: 1.

Projectile assembly 2.

Explosive filling (HE/Incendiary/DP as applicable) 3.

Fuze assembly & integration 4.

Final inspection & packing 3 Drive OEE improvement (Availability, Performance, Quality) 4 Implement Kaizen and Lean manufacturing practices.

5 Ensure optimum line balancing, manpower deployment, and machine utilization.

6 Ensure lot traceability through MES/SAP systems.

7 Follow and manage ISO 19001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 certifications requirements.

(IMS Requirement) 8 Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on production needs & Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production volume, quality, and downtime.





9 Can identify issues in real-time and drive quick corrective actions to avoid production loss or quality defects.

10 Synchronization and Maintaining the Line Speed with respect the Inputs from Machine Shop – Maintain OTIF 11 Drive First Pass Yield (FPY) and rejection reduction initiatives.

12 Has ability to Study Engineering Drawing and assembly Drawings Safety and Compliance 1 Enforce all safety regulations and procedures on the production floor.

2 Conduct safety training and awareness sessions for team members 3 Investigate and report any safety incidents, taking corrective measures to prevent recurrence and work towards ZERO Incident approach Maintenance and Troubleshooting:- 1 Collaborate with maintenance teams to address equipment malfunctions and minimize production downtime & Monitor machine performance and identify potential maintenance issues.

2 Perform basic troubleshooting on production equipment as needed to ensure Zero Downtime of equipment Reporting and Documentation: 1.

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, including quality metrics and performance data & Maintain accurate production records and documentation as per company standards.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor of Engineering (Mech) with Minimum 7-8 Years of experience post Degree in production.
- Age <=28 years.
