Purpose/Objective

The Planning, Production, and Costing Engineer will be responsible for project planning, resource allocation, production monitoring, and cost control for dredging and land reclamation projects.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of dredging operations, project management expertise, and proficiency in analytical tools to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality project

Key Responsibilities of Role

Key Responsibilities - Project Planning & Scheduling- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera and MS Project.

- Coordinate with planning team at HO, project managers, works managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to align timelines.
- Monitor progress against baseline schedules and update forecasts.
- Production Monitoring- Track performance of dredgers, EMEs at reclamation site, daily output, and resource utilization.
- Prepare production reports and analyze efficiency trends.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose corrective measures.
- Costing & Budget Control- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for new dredging and reclamation works.
- Monitor actual costs vs.

budget and highlight variances.

- Data Analysis & Reporting- Use Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint to prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Provide insights into productivity, cost efficiency, and project KPIs.




- Prepare Project closure reports with detailed analysis.
- Prepare periodical performance reports of the dredgers and Project progress reports.
- Maintain accurate records of production, costs, and project milestones.

��️ Required Skills & Competencies - Strong knowledge of dredging and land reclamation processes.

- Expertise in Primavera for project scheduling and tracking.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, hydrographic survey data, and dredger logs.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Team collaboration with cross-functional departments (operations, finance, procurement)

Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification: - BE/BTech (Civil, Mechanical, Harbor Engineering), ME/MTECH/MBA (preferable) Work Experience (Range of years): - 3 - 10 years of relevant experience with same field - min.

3 years of experience in dredging industry (preferable)
