To provide Oracle database administrative support.
Creating User and Managing database security and creating and assigning appropriate roles and privileges as required by the application.
To perform database performance tuning using Toad.
To maintain database backups and recovery files.
To Perform Database and front end testing for recent patches installed.
To carry out the entire SDLC process.
Providing the front end and back end support to Business and Users.
Maintaining monthly reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating tablespaces and planning the location of data, index and rollback tablespaces redo log files and control files in adherence to the Optimal Flex Architecture.
Installation and configuration of Oracle software and associated applications.
Creation of databases in the windows and UNIX operating system.
Defragmentation of tables and indexes for improved performance and effective space management.
Migration of SQL and SQR patches, refreshed development and test databases.
To generate reports from the database using PL/SQL and SQL for users Knowledge of Index, Triggers, Stored Procedure Function etc.
Maintaining Test case, Test classification and Defect tracker for Testing.
