Role Description The Assistant Housekeeper is a full time, on-site role based in Haridwar, responsible for supporting daily housekeeping operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the property. This role includes assisting with room preparation, bed making, bathroom cleaning, and replenishing amenities, as well as handling laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing.

The Assistant

Housekeeper will respond to guest requests, coordinate with the housekeeping team, and help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens. Additional responsibilities include following safety and hygiene protocols, reporting maintenance issues,



and supporting training of new housekeeping staff as needed to ensure consistent service quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Laundry skills, including proper handling and care of linens and guest garments.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with team members and interacting with guests.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to respond courteously to guest needs and maintain a welcoming environment.
- Candidates should possess Organization Skills to manage housekeeping tasks, supplies, and room preparation efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Training capabilities to support onboarding and guidance of new housekeeping staff.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred, with knowledge of cleaning standards and hygiene practices.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods while following safety guidelines.
- Basic literacy and numeracy, reliability in shift-based work, and a respectful, team-oriented attitude are essential.
