Role Description The Article Trainee will support audit, accounting, and tax engagements, working closely with seniors and partners to deliver high-quality professional services. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and internal audits, preparing working papers, performing analytical reviews, and supporting documentation of processes and controls. The role involves drafting and reviewing basic financial statements, helping with direct and indirect tax computations and filings,



and maintaining accurate accounting records for client assignments.

The Article

Trainee will also be involved in research on accounting, auditing, and tax matters, supporting ERP implementation and compliance-related work as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, with structured learning and exposure across multiple service lines.

Qualifications

- Currently registered or eligible for Articleship under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), with strong interest in audit, taxation, and advisory.
- Solid foundational knowledge of accounting standards, auditing principles, and basic direct and indirect tax concepts.
- Good proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in working papers and documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, follow structured processes, manage time, and meet deadlines in a team workplace.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to quality aligned with the firm’s values.
- Comfortable working on-site in Bengaluru and engaging directly with internal teams and client stakeholders.
