Role Description The Article Assistant will work full time on-site at the firm’s office in Bengaluru. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in direct and indirect tax compliance, statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers, and supporting documentation for audit engagements.
The Article
Assistant will also support business advisory and consultancy projects through financial analysis, data compilation, and report preparation.
The position includes learning and applying accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and firm methodologies under the guidance of senior team members.
Qualifications
- Robust foundational knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and basic taxation concepts.
- Ability to work with financial data, perform reconciliations, and maintain accurate working papers and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to follow structured processes.
