Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Architect / Lead with 10+ years of expertise in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Enterprise Reporting. The role involves defining BI strategy, architecting scalable Power BI solutions, and driving enterprise-wide analytics transformation initiatives. You will lead the design and governance of up-to-date reporting platforms leveraging Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Databricks, while ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver impactful data-driven insights, establish BI best practices, mentor teams, and drive innovation through advanced analytics and AI-powered reporting solutions. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and deep expertise in enterprise BI architecture and governance.

Roles & Responsibilities

BI Architecture & Strategy

- Define and implement enterprise-wide Power BI architecture, governance, and best practices.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance reporting solutions aligned with business goals.
- Establish data standards, semantic models, and reusable reporting frameworks.
- Lead Power BI platform adoption and modernization initiatives.

Dashboard & Analytics Development

- Architect and oversee the development of executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and self-service BI solutions.
- Design advanced Power BI reports using DAX, Power Query, and complex data models.
- Optimize report performance, usability, and scalability across large datasets.
- Ensure consistent visualization standards and user experience.

Data Integration & Platform Management

- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Solution Architects to design end-to-end analytics solutions.




- Integrate Power BI with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, SQL Server, Databricks, and other enterprise data platforms.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace governance, deployment pipelines, and monitoring frameworks.
- Drive data quality, metadata management, and reporting governance practices.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

- Lead BI teams, mentor developers, and conduct solution reviews.
- Engage with business stakeholders, executives, and delivery teams to gather requirements and define reporting roadmaps.
- Translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions.
- Manage project delivery, effort estimation, and solution documentation.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

- Evaluate emerging Microsoft Fabric, AI/BI, and analytics capabilities.
- Drive automation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven reporting initiatives.
- Recommend improvements to reporting architecture, security, and performance.

Ideal Candidate

- 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Analytics, with 5+ years in leading enterprise-scale Power BI implementations.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Tabular Models, and advanced Data Modeling techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform (ADF, Synapse, Azure SQL, Data Lake), and Databricks.
- Proven experience designing BI governance frameworks, security models (RLS/OLS), deployment pipelines, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong SQL, performance optimization, and enterprise reporting architecture skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale analytics transformation initiatives.
- Experience working in Data Analytics, AI, or Digital Transformation environments is highly preferred.
