Purpose/Objective

To support the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Inline Hold Baggage Screening System (ILHBS) while gaining hands-on experience in airport baggage screening operations, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Assist in the day-to-day operation and monitoring of ILHBS equipment and systems.
- Support baggage screening activities in accordance with aviation security procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of ILHBS equipment.
- Report system faults, alarms, or operational issues to the concerned team.
- Maintain operational records, logs, and documentation accurately.
- Coordinate with operations, security, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth functioning of the system.
- Adhere to all airport safety,



security, and compliance requirements.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and other departmental tasks as assigned.

Technical Competencies

Qualifications and Experience

- Diploma/ITI/Graduate in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Aviation, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of technical systems and equipment operations.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a shift-based operational environment.
- Knowledge of airport operations or aviation security will be an added advantage.
