Title: Value Realization Finance Analyst, AI Advisory

Experience: 4–9 years in FP&A;, benefits realization, business finance or transformation finance

Type: Full Time Employment

Location: India — Mumbai or Bangalore

Work hours: Flexible for overlap with US Eastern time required

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or CMA, or an MBA in Finance

Role Overview

As part of Quantiphi's AI Advisory practice, you will be the finance specialist behind our AI value realization work. Clients' CFOs, COOs and P&L; owners want to know what their AI costs, what it produces, and what has actually reached the P&L.; You will build the numbers that answer that.

You'll define how each AI initiative's value is calculated, separate potential value from realized value, and give our engineering and BI team the metric logic, data sources and evidence rules to build Value Bridge and portfolio dashboards.

You'll work with the US engagement team, who lead the client and CFO conversations. Your job is to make every number they present defensible, traceable and ready for Finance certification.

Role & Responsibilities

Build the value case

- Build pre-AI baselines and counterfactuals from client data: overtime, contractor spend, hiring plans, cycle time, cost-to-serve.
- Model the value equation for each AI solution:

eligible volume × adoption × successful assist × time saved × economic rate.
- Tag each initiative with a value type: cost avoidance, capacity, contribution margin, working capital, or risk/SLA.

Separate created value from realized value

- Count capacity as realized only when evidence shows what happened to it: overtime cut, contractor spend reduced, approved hires avoided, or extra throughput, etc.
- Build the evidence behind avoided-hiring claims, tied to the approved workforce plan and specific positions not opened.
- Track uncaptured capacity at $0 realized so value leakage stays visible.
- Check for double counting across initiatives, business units and value levers.

Define the dashboards with engineering

- Own the calculation logic for the Value Bridge, from investment and adoption through value created, value captured and Finance-validated value.
- Write metric specs engineers can build from: formula, grain, source field, refresh cadence and owner.
- Specify the four dashboard levels: portfolio, Value Bridge, drivers and evidence.
- Build the AI economics view: total cost of ownership, unit cost, ROI, payback, forecast versus realized.
- Test dashboard outputs against finance actuals before anything reaches a client.

Run the evidence and reporting cycle

- Maintain the AI Value Ledger for each initiative: owner, baseline, hypothesis, investment, attribution method, evidence grade, forecast, realized value and status.
- Collect and grade evidence from client HR, Procurement, Operations and Engineering data owners.
- Produce the monthly value pack and the quarterly Finance certification pack, flagging exceptions.

- Prepare the analysis behind quarterly Scale / Fix / Hold / Stop recommendations.

Work across time zones

- Work day to day with the onshore Senior Manager, who leads the client and CFO conversations.
- Raise weak value claims and data gaps early, so the US team isn't waiting overnight.
- Build the templates, metric library and evidence checklists the practice reuses.

Skills & Experience Required

- 4–9 years in FP&A;, perks realization, business finance or transformation finance.
- CA, CMA or MBA in Finance.
- A track record of building business cases and then proving realized benefits against actuals, not just forecasting them.
- Comfort with baselines, counterfactuals and attribution. You can explain why hours saved × salary is capacity, not savings.
- Working knowledge of workforce costs: payroll, overtime, contractor and vendor spend, headcount plans, loaded cost rates.
- Experience writing metric or KPI definitions for data and BI teams, and checking the dashboards they build.
- Strong SQL or advanced Excel modeling; able to read a data model and challenge a calculation.
- Clear written English and the confidence to challenge a number, including a senior colleague's.
- Willingness to be flexible for overlapping with US Eastern time.

What Sets You Apart

- Experience in a global capability center, Big Four or consulting firm supporting US or global clients.
- Prior work in a value realization office, transformation office or PMO.
- Knowledge of US payroll, contractor and hiring-plan practices.
- Exposure to cloud or AI cost management (FinOps): usage costs, unit economics, total cost of ownership.
- Familiarity with A/B tests, control groups or cohort analysis.
- Experience with a BI tool (Power BI, Looker or Tableau) and ERP data (SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Interest in one of our core industries: financial services and insurance, healthcare and life sciences, or telecom and media.
