Core Roles & Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

- Develop and execute R&D; strategies aligned with the company's business goals.

- Identify new technology trends and innovations relevant to the company.

- Guide long-term research goals, product development pipelines, and innovation roadmaps.

2. Project Management

- Oversee end-to-end R&D; projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and within budget.

- Manage product development from concept through commercialization.

- Prioritize R&D; initiatives based on market demand and ROI potential.

3. Team Management

- Lead and mentor R&D; scientists, engineers, and technical staff.

- Set team objectives and monitor performance.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance teams.

- Ensure seamless integration of R&D; outputs into business operations.





- Liaise with regulatory teams for compliance and product approvals.

5. Budget & Resource Planning

- Prepare and manage R&D; budgets.

- Allocate resources effectively across projects.

- Evaluate investment in new tools, equipment, and technologies.

6. Innovation and IP Management

- Drive innovation through internal research or external partnerships.

- Oversee patent filings, intellectual property (IP) management, and tech licensing.

- Scout and evaluate current technologies or research institutions for collaboration.

7. Quality and Compliance

- Ensure all R&D; activities comply with industry regulations and internal quality standards.

- Implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

8. Reporting and Communication

- Report project progress, key milestones, and innovation outcomes to top management.

- Provide technical leadership in customer and stakeholder meetings when required.
