- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

- Establish safety goals, KPIs, and performance monitoring systems.

- Drive a proactive safety culture across all manufacturing and business operations.

- Lead EHS transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Health &
- Safety Compliance

- Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Environmental Protection Act, Hazardous Waste Management Rules, Fire Safety Regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements.

- Liaise with Government Authorities, Pollution Control Boards, Factory Inspectors, Fire Departments, and Auditors.

- Monitor and ensure timely renewal of all statutory licenses, permits, and approvals.

- Maintain compliance records and documentation.

Risk Management &
- Accident Prevention

- Conduct hazard identification and risk assessment studies (HIRA/JSA).

- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

- Develop risk mitigation plans to eliminate workplace hazards.

- Ensure implementation of permit-to-work systems and safety protocols.

Environmental Management

- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to waste disposal, emissions, energy consumption, and pollution control.

- Drive sustainability initiatives focused on energy conservation, water management, recycling, and carbon footprint reduction.

- Monitor environmental performance indicators and implement improvement programs.

Fire &
- Emergency Management

- Establish emergency preparedness and response plans.

- Lead mock drills, evacuation procedures, and emergency response teams.

- Ensure availability and maintenance of firefighting equipment and emergency infrastructure.

- Coordinate with local authorities during emergencies.

Safety Audits &
- Management Systems

- Lead internal and external EHS audits.

- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

- Drive closure of audit observations through corrective action plans.

- Prepare EHS performance reports and management review presentations.

Training &
- Employee Engagement





- Design and implement EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.

- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.

- Promote behavioral safety initiatives and employee participation programs.

- Develop safety champions and cross-functional safety committees.

Contractor &
- Vendor Safety Management

- Monitor contractor safety performance and compliance.

- Ensure protected execution of project and maintenance activities.

- Conduct contractor safety audits and evaluations.

- Implement contractor onboarding and safety orientation programs.

Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor the EHS team across plant locations.

- Build competency and capability within the EHS function.

- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, HR, Supply Chain, and Administration teams.
