To drive strategic sourcing of Finished Goods (FG) and diversified aftermarket products under the company’s brand, ensuring optimal cost, consistent quality, timely availability, and faster product introduction to the market. The role is expected to add value by introducing new mechatronics and high-consumption replacement parts, ensuring supplier competitiveness, managing field rejections, and supporting sales growth.

FG Sourcing & Vendor Development

- Source Finished Goods (FG) mechatronics parts such as stator coils, CDI, TCI, regulators, ignition coils, and related electrical components.
- Identify and onboard recent suppliers nationally and, in future, internationally.
- Develop alternative suppliers for fast-moving parts to ensure continuity of supply and cost competitiveness.
- Explore diversified product categories beyond mechatronics to expand aftermarket sales volumes.
- Conduct supplier capability assessment, audits, and commercial evaluations.

2. Costing, Negotiation & Commercial Finalization

- Prepare detailed costing sheets and profit workings for each product.
- Negotiate prices, MOQ, payment terms, tooling cost, development cost, and lead times with suppliers.
- Liaise with Finance & CFO for price approvals and margin alignment.
- Ensure optimal balance between cost, quality,



and market-acceptable pricing.

3. Quality Coordination & Product Approval

- Coordinate with Quality, R&D;, and Materials teams for product validation, testing, and approvals.
- Expedite internal approval processes to reduce time-to-market.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and market expectations.
- Own and manage field rejections, warranty claims, and customer complaints related to sourced FG.

4. Market-Driven Product Development

- Interact closely with Aftermarket Sales Managers and frontline sales teams to understand market needs.
- Convert market feedback into sourcing action plans.
- Introduce new parts based on consumption trends, competitor offerings, and channel demand.

5. Planning, Scheduling & Inventory Coordination

- Prepare monthly and quarterly vendor schedules in coordination with the Warehouse and Sales teams.
- Ensure zero sales loss due to non-availability of FG.
- Monitor supplier deliveries and proactively resolve shortages.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with:
- Materials Planning
- Quality
- R&D;
- Warehouse
- Aftermarket Sales Team
- Finance & Accounts

- Ensure smooth handover of new products to Sales and Marketing.
