About MinoséMinose is building a modern business in the premium furniture and interiors space, bringing thoughtfully designed furniture, lighting, and interior solutions to customers in India through a global sourcing network.

As we grow, we're looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy accounting professional who can build and manage our accounting function from the ground up.

This isn't just a traditional bookkeeping role. You'll have the opportunity to select and implement the right accounting software, establish financial processes, and introduce technology-driven ways of working to support our growth.

? What You'll Do1. Build Our Accounting System from Scratch

- Evaluate and recommend the right accounting software for Minose based on our business model, operational requirements, budget, and future growth.
- Explore modern, cloud-based accounting platforms rather than defaulting to traditional solutions.
- Lead the implementation of the selected software, including configuration, organising financial records, and establishing accounting workflows.
- Set up processes for invoicing, expense management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and digital tools.

2. Own Day-to-Day Accounting

- Manage bookkeeping, journal entries, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date books of accounts.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded promptly and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Prepare periodic financial summaries and support monthly and annual financial closures.

3. Manage Payables, Receivables & Cash Flow

- Maintain accurate records of creditors, debtors, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Track vendor invoices, payment schedules,



customer collections, and outstanding balances.
- Ensure timely follow-ups with customers and vendors to minimise overdue payments.
- Maintain visibility into upcoming payments, receivables, and cash-flow requirements.
- Provide regular reports to management on outstanding payments, collections, and financial commitments.

4. Coordinate with Our Chartered Accountant

- Work closely with Minose's external Chartered Accountant on GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain complete accounting records and supporting documentation for compliance and reporting.
- Coordinate the preparation of information required for tax filings, audits, and financial statements.
- Ensure timely sharing of financial information and implementation of recommendations from the CA.

5. Support International Business Transactions

- Maintain accurate records of foreign-currency transactions, vendor advances, and international payments, where applicable.
- Track import-related invoices, shipping documentation, and other financial records associated with international sourcing.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure transactions are properly documented and accounted for.

? What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; B.Com preferred.
- Approximately 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong fundamentals in bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets.




- Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, BUSY, or similar platforms is desirable.
- The ability to independently research, evaluate, recommend, and implement accounting software.
- Comfort with cloud-based applications, digital tools, and technology-enabled workflows.
- Robust organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with the CA, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Experience with foreign-currency transactions, vendor advances, or import-related accounting would be an added advantage. ? The Mindset MattersWe're looking for someone who is:
