Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance aligned with the company’s distribution activities.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, monitoring collections, handling vendor and customer accounts, and ensuring accurate entry of high-volume transactions. The role will also involve assisting in monthly and annual closing, preparing financial reports, supporting audits,



and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with operations, sales, and warehouse teams to align financial records with inventory movements, secondary sales execution, and last-mile fulfillment, while helping maintain strong internal controls and process efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems), MS Excel, and basic financial reporting tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance relevant to distribution and FMCG operations.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills to handle high-volume transactions, reconcile discrepancies, and support audits.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance, sales, and operations teams and external stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in distribution, FMCG, or logistics accounting, and familiarity with inventory and batch control, is highly beneficial
