Job Summary

National College invites applications from motivated and student-focused professionals for the position of Academic Counsellor. The successful candidate will guide prospective students and parents regarding course selection, eligibility, admissions, career opportunities, and scholarship options.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents about the college's academic programmes.
- Explain course structures, eligibility criteria, fees, scholarships, and admission procedures.
- Handle walk-in enquiries, telephone enquiries, and online leads.
- Follow up with interested candidates and convert eligible enquiries into admissions.
- Arrange campus visits and coordinate admission-related activities.
- Maintain student enquiry records and update follow-up status.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, schools, and referral partners.




- Coordinate with the academic and administration teams to ensure a smooth admission process.

Requirements

- Any bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in Tamil and English.
- Confidence in interacting with students and parents.
- Good listening, counselling, and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in maintaining records.
- Experience in educational counselling, college admissions, or student recruitment is preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn may apply.
