Job Description - Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop valves (Gate, Globe, Check, Ball, Butterfly, and Specialty Valves) in compliance with ASME/API/ISO standards.
- Prepare 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOM using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.).
- Conduct design calculations, material selection, stress analysis, and performance validation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and manufacturable.
- Review customer specifications and provide technical solutions.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product qualification.
- Drive continuous improvement in existing designs for performance, reliability, and cost optimization.
- Maintain design documentation, revision control, and technical reports.

Key Skills Required :

- Strong knowledge of valve design principles and flow dynamics.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent).




- Understanding of metallurgy, pressure ratings, and sealing technologies.
- Familiarity with casting, forging, and fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of relevant standards :API, ASME, BS, ISO, PED .
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in valve design engineering .
- Familiarity with industry codes/standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.) is required.
- Experience in valve, piping, fabrication, or industrial equipment design will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience in the valve industry is highly desirable.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
