Data Maintenance & Data Quality

- Perform routine maintenance of financial and operational datasets.
- Monitor and validate data used within reporting solutions.
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues.
- Execute regular reconciliation and validation checks.
- Support the maintenance of master data, hierarchies, and reference tables.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive validation activities.

Reporting & Power BI

- Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing Power BI dashboards.
- Build and maintain simple Power BI data models using established standards.
- Develop basic reports and visualisations to support business requirements.
- Assist with dashboard testing and deployment activities.
- Support month-end and forecast reporting processes.

Process Documentation & Governance

- Create and maintain process documentation, user guides, and operating procedures.
- Document data flows, data definitions, and reporting logic.
- Support data governance and control activities.
- Assist with maintaining reporting catalogues and knowledge repositories.

Tool Development & Automation

- Develop simple tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data validation activities.
- Assist in the creation of automated reconciliation and exception reporting.
- Support process improvement initiatives across reporting and analytics.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation.

Business Support

- Respond to day-to-day reporting and data queries.
- Work with finance and operational stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Assist in testing new reporting enhancements and system changes.
- Support ad-hoc analytical and reporting projects.

Essential Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

- Power BI - Optional.





- Understanding of data modelling concepts and relationships.

- Good knowledge of Excel including:

- Pivot Tables

- Power Query

- Lookup functions

- Data validation techniques

- Basic SQL skills. - optional

- Experience working with large datasets.

- Understanding of data quality and reconciliation processes.
