- FlytBase is a Physical AI software platform that powers autonomous drones and robots globally. Our cloud, edge, and on-premise solutions enable drones and robots to operate 24/7 at oil refineries, solar farms, rail yards, and industrial sites—detecting threats, predicting failures, and keeping operations running. FlytBase intelligent platform helps orchestrate fleets of third-party drones & robots, correlating data from multiple sensors and systems, and using AI to predict problems before they happen.

Fortune 500 companies & other large enterprises like CSX (Rail-roads), Anglo-American (Mining), Statnett (Utilities), Dole (Plantation), Asheville - North Carolina Police Department (Public Safety), Discovery Land (Real-estate), Xcel Energy (Solar) are leveraging FlytBase globally to run autonomous operations on their industrial sites.

We've deployed our software at 300+ sites globally and have the largest 50+ channel partner & drone system integrator network in the world. Our platform removes human operators from the equation, transforming off-the-shelf drones into intelligent agents that work with existing infrastructure.

- THE ROLE
- Work at the intersection of robotics, AI, and systems integration to develop critical software components and tools that enable fully autonomous operations.




- Software and system development/testing/integration for safe and reliable autonomous drones and docking stations.
- Deliver reliable, well-tested software for autonomous drones by improving and automating our internal tools, our development environment, programming practices and libraries.
- Integrate communication protocols, including MQTT, Web sockets, and REST services.
- Interface with autopilot SDKs such as DJI's Mobile SDK, Onboard SDK, PayloadSDK, and Mavros, while working on Linux, ROS, and Android-based Debian and apps.
- Tool development to improve development workflow.
- Evaluation of cutting-edge technologies and deployment to production.
- Influence the full-stack architectural roadmap.
- Maintain high-level communication with cross-functional teams and partners.
- WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Designing, developing, and testing high-reliability systems for autonomous drones and docking stations.
- Building scalable, production-grade software for live fleets.
- Leveraging AI to accelerate development, debug faster, and iterate smarter.
- BEST SUITED FOR
- Participant in Robocon /e-Yantra/IARC/IMAV/AUVSI SUAS and/or contributions to open source projects.
- Experience designing and implementing production-grade multi-robot systems or other distributed systems.
- Experience in ROS.
- Experience with multithreading and concurrency.

Good to Have :

- Experience in DevOps, TDD, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience in cloud technologies.




- Experience working in development team(s) that have delivered commercial software or software-based services.
