Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to manage and oversee daily transportation and logistics operations. The role involves planning, coordinating transport activities, arranging vehicles, and ensuring timely, secure, and cost-effective deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage transportation schedules, routes, and vehicle allocation
- Arrange vehicles as per dispatch requirements and ensure availability on time
- Coordinate with transporters, vehicle owners, and drivers for smooth operations
- Track vehicle movement to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
- Follow up with transporters for vehicle placement, loading, and unloading updates
- Maintain robust relationships with transport vendors and negotiate basic freight terms when required
- Maintain records of transportation activities, including vehicle details, fuel usage, and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards




- Resolve operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, or driver-related concerns
- Monitor and optimize logistics and transportation costs
- Prepare and share daily dispatch reports, vehicle status, and MIS reports with management

Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in transport coordination, logistics, or dispatch handling
- Strong knowledge of vehicle placement, route planning, and transporter coordination
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and logistics/ERP software
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
