Job Overview : Key Responsibilities :

- Support, administer, and maintain MySQL and Microsoft SQL databases .
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues with developers and testers.
- Respond to database outages and resolve issues quickly.
- Perform database migrations across private datacenters, cloud platforms, and hosting environments.
- Conduct database patching and upgrades to maintain security and performance.
- Manage database backups and ensure redundancy according to RPO/RTO requirements.
- Monitor and maintain production database environments to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
- Automate database deployment, configuration, and administration tasks.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Experience with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server administration .




- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
- Knowledge of DBaaS services (RDS, Azure SQL) and IaaS (EC2, Azure VMs) .
- Experience working in Linux command-line environments (OEL/RHEL preferred) .
- Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and write bash scripts .
- Basic networking knowledge (routing, ports, firewall concepts).
- Understanding of system engineering and software development concepts .
- Experience in automation and scripting for database management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills .

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience managing databases in production environments .
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including developers and operations teams .
