Product Strategy/Full time/Hybrid

- You will join our Product Development & Operations (PDO) organization, which is focused on operational excellence and transformative innovation, with a strong emphasis on AI, cloud, and data platform adoption. Your work will make Guidewire’s products easier to adopt and use, directly supporting PDO’s mission to deliver secure, scalable solutions and measurable value for P&C; insurers worldwide. At Guidewire, you will contribute to transforming how the world’s P&C; insurers do business as we combine digital, core, analytics, and AI to deliver our platform as a cloud service.

- Role overview - What you’ll do: Key responsibilities
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and user experience designers to plan and design targeted information experiences in short release cycles.
- Use analytics, search logs, chat transcripts, user feedback, and product usage data to identify information gaps and prioritize improvements.
- Actively seek and incorporate constructive feedback from peers, leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to iterate on and improve content quality.
- What we’re looking for: Required skills and experience
- 5+ years in technical writing, with a strong background in data, cloud, and API documentation
- Core Technical Skills: Solid understanding of databases, CDC concepts, basic SQL, data modelling, cloud data platforms (storage, environments, observability), AWS (S3, IAM/access control), data pipelines, analytics, machine learning, risk modelling and scoring, and APIs.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.




- Strong technical aptitude and ability to adapt or write code samples to illustrate how a feature works.
- Knowledge of content development principles and practices, including information architecture, modular structured content, metadata, and information delivery.
- A collaborative mindset with openness to feedback, and a desire for continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with core AI concepts such as prompting, grounding, retrieval, and evaluation.
- You do not need to be a data scientist, but you should understand how AI systems retrieve and use content and be able to design content accordingly.
- Comfort working in a distributed global team environment.
- Preferably, you also have some of the following
- Good understanding of structured authoring, markup languages such as DITA and Markdown, and static site generators, such as Docusaurus.
- Experience working in Git/GitHub.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience designing content models, taxonomies, or ontologies for technical content.
- Experience working with documentation or knowledge that feeds AI assistants, chatbots, or advanced search.
- Experience using analytics or evaluation methods to assess content quality, findability, or answer quality.

you’ll take end-to-end ownership of key product or platform areas, establish scalable content structures and standards, and ship AI-ready documentation that unblocks releases and reduces support friction. Your work will make it easier for customers, partners, and internal teams to understand and use Guidewire’s cloud and AI capabilities, improving adoption, self-service, and overall product satisfaction. Over time, you’ll shape how we design, measure, and deliver content across PDO—enhancing developer experience, powering our AI assistants, and advancing Guidewire’s mission to transform how P&C; insurers do business.
