Job Title: Accountant

Location : Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh Employment Type : Full-Time

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and file statutory returns, including:

- Income Tax Returns (ITR)

- Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) returns

- Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation with GSTR-2A/2B)

- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely recording of all financial transactions.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including:

- Balance Sheet

- Profit & Loss Account

- Cash Flow Statements

- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash and banking transactions.

- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

- Maintain accounting records, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documentation.

- Coordinate with external Chartered Accountants, tax consultants, and auditors for statutory audits, tax assessments, and compliance matters.

- Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, and management reporting as required.

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations,



and company policies.

Basic Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance.
- Robust knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory filings.
- Experience in preparation of Balance Sheets and financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
