About the Role

The Accounts Assistant will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, day to day accounting, Bank Co-ordination and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.

Roles and responsibilities

- Handle foreign banking transactions, including accounting, fund transfers, and reconciliation of overseas bank accounts
- Manage vendor payments, ensuring timely processing, proper documentation, and adherence to approval workflows
- Revenue billing, invoicing, accounting and maintain accurate accounts receivable aging reports
- Pass and review monthly book closing entries, including accruals, provisions, and adjustments
- Perform payment gateway reconciliation (e.g., Stripe, PayPal), ensuring completeness and accuracy of transactions
- Perform monthly MIS and assist in budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis and cost tracking
- Ensure compliance with GST and VAT regulations, including return filings, reconciliations, and audit support
- Coordinate with banks for day-to-day operations, including account maintenance, issue resolution, and documentation
- Support external audits, including preparation of schedules, reconciliations,



and documentation required by auditors
- Ensure readiness for statutory audits, tax audits, and regulatory reviews

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
- 7- 10 years of experience in a similar finance/accounts role.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, GST and TDS and financial systems.
- Proficient in Advance MS Excel and Tally accounting software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
