About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Railway Tendering & Liaisoning Professional with deep knowledge of Indian Railway procurement systems, railway PSUs, and wagon/component tenders .

This is a result-oriented role focused on winning orders in the railway sector.

Key Responsibilities1. Railway Tender Identification

- Monitor and track tenders from:

- Indian Railways

- Railway Production Units

- Railway Workshops

- Railway PSUs

- Wagon manufacturers

- Private railway infrastructure companies

- Identify relevant tenders for:

- Railway structural components

- Wagon components

- Fabrication items

- Infrastructure steel components

1. Tender Preparation & Submission
- Study tender documents in detail including:

- Technical specifications

- Eligibility criteria

- Inspection requirements

- Delivery schedules

- Prepare and submit:

- Technical bids

- Commercial bids

- Compliance documents

- Ensure accurate costing and competitive quoting strategy.

1. Liaisoning with Railway Authorities

Maintain professional relationships and liaison with:

- Railway procurement officers
- Inspection authorities
- Railway workshops
- Wagon manufacturers
- Government railway departments

Follow up on:

- Tender clarifications
- Bid evaluations
- Order finalization

1. Vendor Registration & Approvals

Handle vendor registration and approvals with:

- Railway departments
- Wagon manufacturers
- Railway workshops




- Government railway procurement systems

Maintain documentation required for vendor approvals.

1. Inspection & Order Follow-Up

Coordinate with:

- Railway inspection authorities
- Third-party inspection agencies
- Client representatives

Ensure smooth progress of:

- Order execution
- Inspection approvals
- Dispatch clearances

1. Market Intelligence

Track and analyze:

- Upcoming railway tenders
- Competitor pricing trends
- Procurement patterns
- New railway projects and infrastructure opportunities

Required Skills & Knowledge

Solid knowledge of:

- Indian Railway tendering systems
- Railway procurement procedures
- Wagon and railway component supply chains
- Government e-tendering portals

Experience with portals such as:

- IREPS
- GeM
- Railway e-procurement systems

Understanding of:

- Railway technical specifications
- Inspection procedures
- Vendor registration processes

We are looking for someone who:

- Has strong contacts within the railway ecosystem
- Has successfully won railway tenders in the past
- Understands both technical and commercial aspects of bids
- Is highly proactive and result-driven

Experience working with:

- Railway vendors
- Wagon manufacturers
- Railway fabrication suppliers

will be highly preferred.
