Bartender - Job Description

A Bartender works in the bar section of a restaurant, hotel, club, or lounge and is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests while providing excellent customer service .

Main Responsibilities

- Drink Preparation :

- Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages .

- Follow standard recipes and presentation styles.

- Customer Service :

- Greet guests at the bar and take drink orders.

- Recommend drinks and explain menu items.

- Bar Setup :

- Prepare the bar area before service (glasses, garnishes, ice, ingredients).

- Ensure the bar is well stocked.

- Cleaning & Hygiene :

- Keep the bar counter, tools, and glassware clean.

- Follow safety and hygiene standards.

- Inventory Control :





- Monitor stock of alcohol, mixers, and bar supplies.

- Inform the manager when stock is low.

- Handling Payments :

- Prepare bills and process customer payments if required.

Skills Required

- Knowledge of cocktails and beverage mixing :

- Good communication and customer service :

- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment :

- Basic knowledge of bar equipment and glassware

Qualification

- 12th pass or Diploma in Bartending / Hotel Management :

- Experience in bar service is preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
