Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Continental Cook based in Vijayawada. The Continental Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of continental dishes, ensuring taste, presentation, and portion control meet the restaurant’s standards. Daily tasks include mise en place, handling kitchen equipment, following standardized recipes, and coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service. The role involves maintaining strict food safety and hygiene practices,



managing inventory of ingredients, and minimizing food wastage. The cook will also assist in menu development, suggest improvements to recipes, and support training of junior staff when required.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in continental cuisine preparation, including grilling, sautéing, baking, and plating.
- Candidates should possess skills in kitchen operations such as food safety, hygiene practices, basic inventory handling, and workstation organization.
- Candidates should possess skills in time management, teamwork, and communication to coordinate effectively with kitchen and service staff.
- Candidates should possess adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle rush hours, special requests, and menu changes.
- Formal culinary training or certification is preferred; prior experience as a continental cook or in a similar role is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours, stand for extended periods, and follow health and safety regulations is required.
- Basic knowledge of food allergens and dietary preferences is an added advantage.
