SAP ABAP + UI5 + BTP Specialist

Experience: 10+ years

Location: Bangalore/Mumbai

Mandatory Skills: SAP ABAP, SAPUI5, SAP BTP

Key Requirements

- Solid expertise in ABAP Objects, Classes, BAdIs, User Exits, CDS Views, and AMDP.
- Hands-on experience developing high-performance OData V2/V4 services using SEGW (SAP Gateway Service Builder), RAP, or CAP.
- Experience in backend architecture design, SAP S/4HANA integration, and diagnosing SQL/ABAP performance bottlenecks.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA-specific SQL optimization and SAP Gateway troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience developing SAPUI5 applications and extending standard Fiori applications using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and BTP.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3,



XML views, and UI performance tuning.
- Experience with Fiori Elements, metadata annotations, and Fiori landscape design in coordination with frontend architecture.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, and Git/GitHub for version control.
- Experience in at least two full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations or conversions preferred.
- Functional knowledge of PTP, RTR, or OTC is an advantage.
- Certifications: SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP preferred; SAPUI5 and Fiori Applications certification is a plus.
