Role Description This is a full-time, in office Calibration Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Calibration Engineer will perform routine and specialized calibration of instruments, sensors, and test equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with standards. Daily responsibilities include setting up and conducting tests, documenting calibration results, analyzing data, and adjusting equipment parameters as needed. The role involves collaborating with engineering and production teams to support powertrain and related systems, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining calibration records and procedures.



The Calibration Engineer will also assist in implementing and improving calibration methodologies, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting audits and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

- Strong calibration and testing skills, including experience in setting up, executing, and validating measurement procedures.
- Knowledge of powertrain systems and related components, with the ability to support performance evaluation and optimization.
- Background in electrical engineering with understanding of circuits, sensors, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Background in mechanical engineering with familiarity in mechanical systems, equipment, and test benches.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, standards, and calibration certificates.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in documenting procedures and results.
- Comfort working on-site in an industrial or laboratory environment, following safety and quality protocols.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams.
