Role Description This full time remote Video Editor role focuses on shaping raw footage from weddings and events into cohesive, compelling stories. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and organizing footage, editing video sequences, syncing audio, and applying transitions and effects to meet project briefs and brand guidelines. The Video Editor will perform color correction and grading, incorporate motion graphics and titles, and prepare files for delivery across various platforms. The role also involves collaborating with producers and other team members to refine creative concepts, maintain consistent quality standards, and meet deadlines for multiple concurrent projects. The Video Editor is expected to work independently,



manage their own schedule within agreed timelines, and communicate proactively with the team.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in video editing and video production, including organizing footage and building narrative sequences.
- Candidates should possess skills in video color grading, color correction, and visual consistency across multiple clips.
- Candidates should possess skills in motion graphics and graphics, including titles, lower thirds, and simple animated elements.
- Candidates should be proficient with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Candidates should demonstrate strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and a good sense of pacing and music selection.
- Candidates should have excellent time management skills, the ability to work independently in a remote environment, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Experience editing wedding or event videos and a portfolio showcasing relevant work is highly beneficial.
- A degree or certification in film, media production, or a related field is a plus but not required.
