Job Title: Special Educator & Inclusion Mentor

Location : Kondapur Branch, Hyderabad

Reporting to : Head of Department / Principal

Role Overview

As a Special Educator Mentor at Sanskriti, you will be the primary architect of inclusive learning environments. Your mission is to identify, assess, and support students with diverse learning challenges (such as Dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, or developmental delays). You will work closely with mainstream teachers to modify curricula and ensure every student can access the Sanskriti experience with dignity and success.

Key Responsibilities

- Individualized Education Programs (IEP) : Design, implement, and monitor comprehensive IEPs tailored to each student’s unique academic, social, and behavioral goals.

- Identification & Screening : Conduct initial screenings and informal assessments to identify students struggling with learning gaps or behavioral issues.

- Curriculum Adaptation : Adapt lesson plans, assignments, and examination papers (providing scribes or extra time) in accordance with CBSE/NIOS guidelines for inclusive education.

- Parental Partnership : Act as a bridge between the school and home, providing parents with progress reports and strategies for home-based support.

- Teacher Empowerment :



Conduct sensitisation workshops for mainstream staff on inclusive teaching strategies and classroom management for neurodivergent students.

- Social-Emotional Guidance : Help students develop self-advocacy skills, emotional regulation, and social cues to navigate the school environment confidently.

- Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Special Education (B.Ed./M.Ed. Special Education) .

- Mandatory : Valid RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) Registration.

- Additional certification in Child Psychology or Counseling is a significant advantage.

- Experience : 3-7 years working in a mainstream inclusive school setting or a specialized learning center.

- Core Competencies :

- Deep patience, empathy, and a "solutions-oriented" mindset.

- Expertise in multi-sensory teaching techniques (e.g., Orton-Gillingham approach).

- Solid documentation skills for maintaining case files and progress tracking.
