Key Result Areas & Responsibilities

- Teach History and Political Science to Senior Secondary classes (XI-XII) as per CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Develop students’ understanding of historical events, political systems, governance, and civic awareness.
- Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives and board examination patterns.
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, and evaluations and maintain academic records.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and CBSE board examinations (Class XII).
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical discussion, debate, and research-based learning.
- Provide remedial and enrichment support based on student performance and learning needs.
- Maintain a disciplined, engaging, and interactive classroom environment.
- Integrate digital tools, presentations, and smart board technology into teaching practices.
- Communicate student progress with parents during PTMs and academic meetings.
- Participate in school events, examinations, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic coordinators for curriculum planning and academic improvement.
- Postgraduate (M.A.)



in History or Political Science from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (mandatory) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience as a PGT in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Ability to teach both History and Political Science at the Senior Secondary level will be preferred.
