Key responsibilities include planning interactive lessons, conducting assessments, maintaining student records, and fostering a positive classroom, with requirements usually including a Bachelor’s degree, B.Ed./teaching certification, and strong communication skills. Core Responsibilities

- Lesson Planning & Delivery : Develop and execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans focusing on foundational numeracy and, when necessary, introducing basic algebra and geometry.
- Student Assessment : Conduct regular tests, quizzes, and evaluations; grade assignments; and monitor student progress to provide constructive feedback.
- Classroom Management : Maintain a secure, disciplined, and supportive, positive learning environment.
- Curriculum Implementation : Implement the CBSE curriculum or relevant educational standards.




- Parent-Teacher Communication : Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and attend meetings.
- Instructional Techniques : Utilize interactive, hands-on, and technology-driven methods to make mathematics engaging.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or elementary education with a specialization in Mathematics.
- Certification : Valid teaching certification/license, such as CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test).
- Experience : Prior teaching experience in primary classes (I-V), preferably in a CBSE school setting.
