Cashier for a cafe
- Greet customers and take orders politely
- Enter orders accurately into the POS system
- Process payments (cash, card, mobile) correctly
- Provide receipts, correct change, and handle cash responsibly
- Keep the cashier counter clean and organized
- Restock front counter items (cups, napkins, straws, bags)
- Answer customer questions about menu items and prices
- Manage order numbers and ensure customers receive their items
- Handle customer concerns or direct them to the supervisor if needed
- Follow opening and closing cashier procedures
- Count cash drawer at the beginning and end of shift
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
Prior experience as a cashier or in customer service (cafe/restaurant experience is a plus)
Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask
