Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and support ETL data pipelines and data integration services for the Alpha Data Platform.

Design and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions, data-readiness and data-quality processes, and data loads for batch and real-time use cases.

Perform SQL debugging, query performance tuning, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis.

Create high-level designs, technical artifacts, governance documentation, peer code reviews, unit test results, and deployment materials.

Collaborate with global teams and business and IT stakeholders on standards, cross-training, data onboarding, and client implementations.

Use Git versioning and branching practices and create Confluence and Jira/Kanban work items.

Investigate production problems independently and deliver solutions that improve operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another technical field is required.

Master’s degree is strongly preferred.





At least 10 years of experience in data integration or orchestration services is required.

Strong data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL tools such as Talend Cloud Data Integration are required.

Strong SQL knowledge and debugging skills are required.

Experience with service architecture, data-driven client solutions, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake SQL, and database query or performance tuning is required.

Financial-domain knowledge is a plus.

Experience with State Street or Charles River Development, Qlik Replicate, Qlik Compose, and change data capture tools is a plus.

Exposure to third-party data providers such as Bloomberg, Reuters, MSCI, and rating agencies is a plus.
