Enago Read ( is the first smart workspace that helps researchers (students, professors, and corporate researchers) to be better and faster in their research projects. Powered with proprietary AI algorithms and a unique approach to solving problems with design and tech, RAx is set to be the default workspace for any research-heavy projects. Launched in 2019, the product connects information (Research papers, Blogs, Wiki, Books, Courses, Videos, etc.) to behaviors (reading, writing, annotating, discussing & more), opening up newer insights and opportunities in the academic space that was otherwise not possible (or not imaginable).





We are a bunch of passionate researchers, engineers, and designers who came together to build a product that can revolutionize the way any research-intensive projects are done. Reducing cognitive load and helping people to convert information into knowledge, is at the core of our mission. Our engineering team is building a scalable platform that deals with tons of data, AI processing over the data, and interactions of users from across the globe. As a UX Designer, you will be working towards providing a delightful user experience for Trinka and Enago Read users. You will be building an understanding of our users existing behaviors, and empathy towards their needs and challenges. You will help the product managers, marketing leads, AI/ML research leadership, and top leadership in defining and enhancing the end-to-end product experience of our products, end-to-end user interaction experience, brand strategy, and visual communication strategy. You will be doing that by establishing an agile and iterative design process.

You will help translate long-term product vision, goals, metrics, and strategy into concrete design plans and roadmaps.

- You will work closely with Engineering to ensure high-quality execution of the product vision and user requirements.
- You will be a go to person to improve design processes, update/maintain style guides, and put in place design systems that scale across our products - web, and mobile.
- You will be planning and conducting UX audits, and usability research,



and do whatever it takes to research and build the right experience for our users.
- You will be working with the Visual Communication Designer and with the content writers in creating assets required for promotion, product, and events.

Experience

- You have 1 to 2 years of design experience with a strong portfolio of products that have high traction in terms of engagement, preferably SaaS productivity platforms.
- You are very strong in both UX and UI design, and always keep yourself updated with the most recent design discussions in the top design communities.
- You have a data-driven obsession with users - who they are and how they use the product - to create the best experience for them; You have 1 to 2 years of robust and extensive experience in advanced features of tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Framer, and Illustrator.
- You have a fair understanding of front-end Javascript frameworks, browser workings, and end-to-end client-server web app workings.
- You have a very strong bias for action with a focus on measurable results - ship high-quality releases, take feedback from users, apply learnings, refine the product, repeat.
- You have very strong experience in the best practices around product designing and design project management.
- You have worked on high-impact projects, and you see product designing as a team sport and like collaborating with fellow product designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver customer value. You are energized by working in a highly collaborative environment at a UX-obsessed startup.
- You are a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) freak.
