Job Description : Senior Data Analyst / Data EngineerExperience : 5 - 10 YearsLocation : Whitefield, BengaluruEmployment Type : Full-Time, PermanentKey Responsibilities : - Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical/data teams.- Lead requirement-gathering sessions to understand business needs and translate them into clear technical and data requirements.- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.- Analyze large datasets to identify data quality issues, trends, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.- Collaborate with data engineers and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.- Perform data validation, troubleshoot data-related issues, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.- Work with Databricks at a foundational level, including notebooks, data processing concepts, and data analysis.- Prepare and maintain documentation for business requirements, data mappings, transformation logic, and processes.- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Provide regular progress updates to management and proactively highlight risks, dependencies,



and gaps.Required Skills and Qualifications : - 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or a related field.- Strong expertise in SQL, including complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and query optimization.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.- Good understanding of data structures, data transformation, and data validation.- Basic working knowledge of Databricks.- Proven experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and business communication.- Ability to independently lead stakeholder discussions and represent the team or manager in meetings.- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical/data specifications.- Robust documentation, presentation, and communication skills.Good to Have : - Experience with cloud-based data platforms.- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration.- Exposure to Python or PySpark.- Experience working in large-scale enterprise data environments.
