Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Lead Data Scientist to lead Newgen's Agentic and Generative AI initiatives. This role focuses on architecting next-generation AI systems, translating ambiguous business and RFP requirements into scalable technical solutions, and leading high-performing data science teams in a fast-paced consulting setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect Agentic AI systems (multi-agent workflows, reasoning, memory, tool usage)
- Build hybrid solutions combining Generative AI and classical ML
- Stay current with state-of-the-art AI/ML models and apply them pragmatically
- Lead AI solutioning for RFPs, pre-sales, and client workshops
- Drive AI innovation and roadmap contributions within Newgen's product suite
- Mentor and lead a team of data scientists
Skills & Experience:
- Strong exposure to LLMs, RAG, agent frameworks, orchestration patterns
- Solid foundation in machine learning and data science fundamentals
- Experience designing end-to-end AI architectures
- Consulting or solutioning background preferred
- Strong communication, ideation, and leadership skills
