We are seeking applications for the position of Senior Urban Designer for upcoming Zonal development Pla n for Uttar Pradesh.

Missions/Main Duties

- Lead and manage the overall planning, development, and execution of urban and regional planning assignments.
- Provide strategic direction for the preparation of Master Plans, Zonal Development Plans, Land Use Plans, SEZ Plans, and other statutory planning documents.
- Coordinate with clients, government departments, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.




- Guide the preparation and review of land use assessments, demographic studies, economic analyses, infrastructure plans, and environmental considerations.
- Integrate transportation planning, infrastructure development, environmental sustainability, and socio-economic factors into planning proposals.
- Oversee spatial analysis, GIS mapping, data collection, and visualization activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable urban development regulations, planning standards, and statutory requirements.
- Lead stakeholder consultations, workshops, and public engagement activities.
- Review and approve technical reports, planning documents, maps, and presentations.
- Monitor project timelines, quality standards, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, land use regulations, transportation systems, environmental planning, and infrastructure development.
- Proficiency in using urban planning software and tools for data analysis, mapping, and visualization.

Profile/Skills

- Master's degree in urban and Regional Planning or equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institute.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in urban and regional planning.
- Proven experience as Team Leader/Project Manager for urban planning and development projects.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of:
- Master Plans
- Zonal Development Plans
- Land Use Plans
- Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Plans
- Sectoral Development Plans

- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and liaising with government agencies, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
