Role Overview :HEALTHCARE DOMAIN ONLYWe are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer who combines robust technical depth with leadership.You will be responsible for guiding technical direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring successful delivery of complex initiatives.This is a hands-on leadership role, not a people-manager-only position.Key Responsibilities :Technical Leadership :- Own and drive technical design decisions across frontend and backend systems.- Review and approve architecture and design proposals.- Ensure systems are scalable, maintainable, and secure.- Set and uphold engineering standards and best practices.- Evaluate, guide, and set guardrails for the responsible use of AI-assisted development tools to improve team productivity and code quality.Delivery & Execution :- Lead the delivery of complex, cross-cutting features and initiatives.- Break down ambiguous product requirements into executable technical plans.- Identify technical risks early and proactively mitigate them.- Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term platform health.Team & Mentorship :- Mentor Senior and Associate engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and guidance.- Raise the overall engineering capability of the team.- Foster a culture of ownership,



accountability, and continuous improvement.- Partner closely with Product, QA, and Clinical stakeholders.Required Skills & Experience :- 7 - 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.- Proven experience leading technical initiatives or teams.- Strong expertise in :1. React.js and frontend architecture2. Node.js backend systems and API design3. AWS cloud services (EC2 / ECS / EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch)- Deep understanding of :1. System design and scalability2. Data modeling and performance3. Security and privacy considerations- Hands-on experience with :1. CI/CD pipelines2. Production monitoring and incident response- Strong decision-making and communication skills.- Ability to mentor and influence without micromanaging.- Drive automation and tooling improvements that reduce cognitive load, improve developer experience, and maintain system correctness.Nice-to-Have :- Experience in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated domains.- Experience working with Kubernetes or distributed systems.- Prior experience working closely with compliance or regulatory requirements (ref:hirist.tech)
