Role & responsibilities :As a Java Engineer you will :- Ensure on-time delivery of current API endpoints- Maintain and evolve existing API functionalities- Deliver quality code in an efficient manner- Take end-to-end ownership of our fleet of microservices- Contribute to our infrastructure and automation tools- Collaborate with fellow engineers, agile coaches and product owners- Mentor teammates with less experience than youPreferred candidate profile :- Java expertise: multiple years of professional experience building production-grade, scalable products.- Deep experience with Spring to architect complex solutions.- Experience of Test Driven Development in Java- REST services: strong knowledge of building and operating RESTful APIs, including designing them.- Security:



solid understanding of security best practices for backend and cloud services (securing APIs, identity management, data encryption).- Databases: strong proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases, with the flexibility to adapt to specific squad requirements.- Cloud-native development: extensive experience in the development and operation of cloud-native applications on a major platform (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure accepted).- Infrastructure as Code: proven experience with Terraform or similar tools.- Communicate well in written and verbal English (ref:hirist.tech)
